Program Description Unique Aspects of Program The Master of Public Administration is already an existing Program. Its mission is to prepare students for administrative and leadership positions in governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations. NASPAA requires that every national accredited program must have an information technology course for all students. As a result, the MPA faculty members agreed to use IS 8200 Legal and Ethical Issues in Information Systems Administration concentration section to fulfill that mandate. To maintain a 36 semester-hour program, we are proposing to increase the core requirements from 21 semester credit hours to 24, and reduce concentration requirements of 12 semester credit hours to 9.
