1. Lab attendance is required. Please try to arrive ON TIME as well.
2. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO MAKE-UPS for any missed lab practical exams or quizzes. A score of "0" will
be recorded if a Lab Practical Exam is missed.
3. All students will receive a list of Lab Rules and Regulations and will read and study these rules prior to the second
lab; they will then be carried in the student's notebook for the duration of the course.
4. Cheating of any kind is NOT ALLOWED and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in the Lab setting. IF any
student(s) is (are) observed to be cheating, papers will be taken away and the student(s) will be asked to LEAVE

do not answer, be sure to RELAY YOUR MESSAGE; then leave your name and number where I may reach you.
In addition, I have regularly scheduled office hours posted on the door of my office. You are always welcome to

6. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Students with disabilities who believe they may need academic adjustments, auxiliary
aids or services to fully participate in course activities or meet course requirements are encouraged to register with the
Access and Disability Services (ADS) Office, Room 300K in the Cascade Building. You may also call the ADS Office to
make an appointment to meet with the ADS Coordinator: 253-964-6526 or 964-6527. Students requesting accommodations

7. Here are Emergency Procedures for our Classroom: First, call 911 and then Campus Safety in response to an
imminent threat to persons or property. In the event of an evacuation (intermittent horns & strobes), gather all personal belongings and leave the building using the nearest available safe exit. Be prepared to be outside for one
hour and stay a minimum of 200 feet from any building or structure. So long as it is safe to do so, students are expected to stay on campus and return to class after evacuations that last less than 15 minutes. Do not attempt to reenter the building until instructed by an Evacuation Director (identified by orange vests) or by three horn blasts or
bell rings. Please notify the nearest Campus Safety Officer or Evacuation Director of anyone left in the building
or in need of assistance. Ft. Steilacoom Campus Safety Phone Number is: 964-6751
