How did you use this tool? How could you see others using this tool? Be Specific! I took pictures of vocabulary flashcards and added them to the pic wall. The students can then use the pic wall to sort vocabulary words or concepts. Once matched, the student can then shuffle the words and definitions for additional practice. I could see others using this tool in the same way. Major concepts and words for students to acquire basic knowledge. In Science, the teacher could use words and pictures. For example, the types of energy could be matched with pictures of the energy being used. In Social Studies, the types of government could be matched with pictures of the hierarchies of that particular government system. Advantages of this tool: Disadvantages of this tool: It allows for an interactive way to learn vocabulary, concepts, and ideas. The shuffle option makes it easy for students to sort the words and definitions multiple times. It is free and does not require flash. PicWalls CAN be emailed out to people It can only be used on ios devices. There isn’t a corresponding website.
