Scholars Program
The Levine Scholars Program is UNC Charlotte’s
most prestigious merit scholarship program that
was established in 2009 by benefactors Sandra and
Leon Levine. The inaugural class of Levine Scholars
entered in the fall semester of 2010 and a new
cohort of approximately 15 students is selected to
join the program each year. Levine Scholarships
are awarded to extraordinary high school seniors
based on scholarship, ethical leadership, and civic

Instructions
1. Students must write an essay, not to exceed

passionate about building character and following
ethical standards in your academic and personal

wish. Judging will be based on how well students
captured the essence of the topic and their

Relocation Council
Scholarship

A one-time award of $1,500 will be presented to
an Atlanta area high school senior this year
The award will be sent directly to the college that
the student will be attending to assist with tuition,
etc.
The MARC organization will select the scholarship
winner based on the strength of their total
application. The student will be evaluated based on
the following:
1.) Academic performance (as validated by
transcripts from the counselor’s office),
2.) Extra-curricular activities (to be provided us
along with the application and essay), and
3.) The student’s essay addressing the challenges
associated with relocating to a new area and a new
high school (please see greater details regarding

The $5000.00 non-renewable scholarship is
awarded to one student each year. That student
must be graduating from a high school in either

to life. The ideal candidate will excel academically;

Georgia institution in 2016, apply today for
the $1,000 Pak and McRae Law, LLC Georgia Give
Back to Georgia Scholarship.
Through our work as attorneys and through
volunteering in Decatur, we give back to our
community. But we know that help comes in all
shapes and forms. How do you give back to your
community in Georgia? Why do you give back? We
want to learn more!
We are offering one $1,000 scholarship to help a
Georgia student further his or her educational
aspirations.

attending a Forsyth County High School that meets
the following minimum criteria:
Must be a Senior in good standing
2.8 minimum grade point average
3 completed letters of recommendation
completed application and packet
Well-written essay detailing applicant’s evidence
of service to the community and
intended field of study
Pursuing a degree in a “helping field” or
“profession of service to others”
Attach one unofficial transcript verifying your GPA

The Mission of the A. C. Harwell Coaches Challenge April 15th, 2016
Golf Tournament Scholarship Program is to
provide financial assistance generated through its
annual golf tournament to a deserving student in
Forsyth County. A scholarship in the amount of
$1000 will be awarded to a graduating senior in a
Forsyth County public high school, who is active in
sports or extra-curricular activities while
demonstrating leadership, citizenship and
scholarship.

The Cumming Chapter
of the Vietnam Veterans
of America Scholarship
(Local Scholarship!)
The Cumming Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of
America will award two (2)
$1,500 scholarships to deserving, college-bound
Forsyth County Public and Private High School
seniors.
To be eligible, candidates must be US citizens and
the children, grandchildren or great grandchildren
of US Military veterans.
Each candidate must complete the application
form and a guidance counselor or principal must
sign and attest to the student’s grade point
average, class rank and SAT scores.
The Chapter Scholarship Committee will base its
selection on the following criteria:
1. Scholastic Excellence
2. School and Community involvement
3. Financial Need
In addition, each applicant must submit a
minimum 500 word original essay answering the
question why “Freedom isn’t Free.”
Potential scholarship recipients must be accepted
as a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4 year
post-secondary institution.

The Sawnee Woman’s Club is pleased to once April 18th, 2016
again offer Forsyth County graduating seniors
an opportunity to apply for a merit based
college scholarship. Two scholarships will be
awarded (1st place - $2,000 and 2nd place $1,000) to students selected from among all
Forsyth County High Schools. An application,
essay, and verification of the applicant’s GPA
is required. The official application will also be
