Determine Results Indicators
All departments 6-8th grade have
agreed that differentiation is our
school’s greatest area for instructional
improvement. The teachers have
agreed to learn about and implement
5 distinct differentiation practices as
are appropriate for their subject and
classes throughout the course of the
school year.
If teachers, focus on implementing
effective differentiation strategies,
particularly in regards to meeting
individual student needs, student
achievement should improve
throughout the year as measured
through data teams.
If students’ needs and learning gaps
are addressed appropriately through
differentiated practices, their
engagement and achievement
should improve.
Timeline
Grade level
departments meet
every other week
and share
differentiated
practices that they
are using. The
teachers will share
what they believe
to be both effective
and ineffective
practices.
Differentiation
practices will be
viewed in
walkthroughs
throughout the
year and discussed
at length in
Midyear TKES
conferences in

As principal I will monitor progress through the TKES platform with a focus on the differentiation standard.
Differentiation progress will be an agenda item on each monthly BLT meeting. Admin will evaluate
Differentiation specifically at the midyear TKES conferences in December. Differentiated practices will be
