We will raise our CCRPI score in Achievement by concentrating on the subjects of Math and Writing through the use of trained Data Teams. We anticipate working on this for two consecutive school years. Having completed our five year plan of Assessment, Design, and Instruction, we will cycle through the framework. Teacher Leaders within building, Educators on Special Assignment, and Math Consultant. Tracking student progress in math through Data Teams led by a trained teacher leader. If groups work collaborative to monitor student progress, then interventions will be supplied with fidelity to students at-risk while others will be accelerated. Beginning September 16, 2013 meetings scheduled every two weeks for the school year. Training for teacher leaders for each grade level. Schedule in place to allow time for collaboration. Providing peer observations by encouraging visitations to other schools and classrooms within Chestatee. Each teacher will have the opportunity to visit a particular area of math/writing instructional need or interest twice during the 2013-14 school year. If educators view model classrooms and math instructional practices, then they will reflect on their own instructional practices to the benefit of students.
