Five challenge words will be given to students who miss 0 or 1 on the pretest. • Tuesday – Thursday: Reinforcement and practice activities are completed. • Friday: The students complete a weekly test. • Spelling correlates with reading lessons, we may not have spelling every week. • Beginning in January, spelling tests will be written in cursive. They will discuss study skills, and various literacy and math themes that will supplement our learning in other classes. During Tiger Time, Mrs. Ruffennach is also able to conduct assessments that will provide our third grade team with data to ensure that our students are meeting their goals, and will help us to provide tailored instruction to their learning needs. Some students are pulled out of Tiger Time for other learning enrichment during this time as well.
