over heels" at the end of the school day--Join the GOAL students who "HOLD THEIR HEADS HIGH!"
How do you sign up
for a GOAL offering?
Visit the GOAL office and get a trip form
Take the form home for your parent signature
Read the form for trip details, mark your calendar,
then return the signed form to the GOAL office
Tell your teachers one week before the event that
you plan to attend a GOAL enrichment
Remind your teachers the day before and get
your work
FYI
GOAL buses leave from the back of the building by
the cafeteria!
If for some reason you can not attend an enrichment
and we are expecting YOU, let the GOAL teachers
know! Call the GOAL office or email your teacher!
We do not want to hold buses or search NAI for
YOU!

● For students interested in adventure travel, world cultures, economics, and
overcoming fears
● This GOAL activity will be held as a Lunch and Learn during your lunch period in
the Collaboration Room on Friday, October 27th
● Although you will receive GOAL credit for attending, you will not miss any class to
do so.

Thursday, November 7th
Cost: $20 (check-no cash) limit 30 students
Our day will include:
A glass blowing demonstration, tour
of the Center, and a hands-on
experience working with glass.
Please let us know if you would like to make a glass bead
or a fused-glass, sun-catcher on your trip form.
CALC-U-SOLVE
Join us on Thursday, October 3rd for a day of
math challenge! Pick up a trip form after the
meeting or in the GOAL office. Only a few spots
are available!
Participation is limited to 24 students!
(6 teams of 4) Team Sign Up is posted outside the
GOAL office on the bulletin board!

If you are interested in this interactive simulation, please contact
Mrs. Urbaniak at jurbaniak@northallegheny.org or visit the GOAL
office. You will be expected to prepare in advance, write a position paper with a partner
and fully participate in the one-day simulation at Pitt. Mrs. Volpe-Forensic credits are
earned. This counts as two GOAL enrichments---prep + the summit!
