Ms. Back, 3 rd Grade
Dear Parents and Students,
March 14, 201 6
JOHNSON SCHOOL
Happy Monday! I hope you had a nice weekend. Reports cards went
home Friday, March 11. After reviewing the report card, please sign the
envelope and return both to school this week.
We are working on the note-taking and drafting process. Students
have selected their body paragraphs based on their questions, are taking
notes, and are writing their body paragraphs. We are taking notes in our
writing spirals, and we are using Google Docs to write our reports. Students
have already set up their documents and started writing. They have their
log-in information and can work on Google Docs at home. Students are
working on their projects in class, and much, if not all, should be14
completed in school. However, some work may need to be completed at
home. Finally, please help students remember to bring their books/sources
y so we can work on the research projects in class.
to school
Please continue to check and sign the planner daily, please continue
to practice reading and math fluency with your students, and please let me
know if you have any questions. Have a great week!
Sincerely,
Ms. Back
