Reports cards went home Friday, March 11. After reviewing the report card, please sign the envelope and return both to school this week. We are working on the note-taking and drafting process. Students have selected their body paragraphs based on their questions, are taking notes, and are writing their body paragraphs. We are taking notes in our writing spirals, and we are using Google Docs to write our reports. Students have already set up their documents and started writing. They have their log-in information and can work on Google Docs at home. Students are working on their projects in class, and much, if not all, should be14 completed in school. However, some work may need to be completed at home. Finally, please help students remember to bring their books/sources y so we can work on the research projects in class. to school Please continue to check and sign the planner daily, please continue to practice reading and math fluency with your students, and please let me know if you have any questions. Read it as many times as possible to improve fluency and reach fluency goal. READING LOG GOAL: Read at least 20 minutes 4 times a week. MATH LOG (PARENTS, PLEASE SIGN): Math homework should be included on math log. Also, practice math facts and other math concepts using weekly fact practice test, math homework, flash cards, XtraMath, paper and pencil, computer games, math games/ activities, etc. MATH LOG GOAL: Practice at least 15 minutes 4 times a week.
