Dear Parents, Please take the opportunity to listen to your child read orally. Then ask them questions about what they read to hear how well they comprehend the passage. The more your child is reads AT HIS/HER “JUST RIGHT” LEVEL, the stronger reader s/he will become! Each student knows his or her own level- just ask them! * “Just right" reading level is determined by having a child read one page in their book. If they stumble on anywhere from 3-4 words, that book is JUST RIGHT for them; 1-2 is too easy and 5 or more is too hard.
