Reading This week we read Chrysanthemum and completed an activity called “Don’t Wrinkle Hearts.” Every time someone in the story made fun of Chrysanthemum’s name, we folded our paper heart. After completing the story, we tried to straighten out our heart. We discussed how we feel when someone hurts our feelings and how it leaves a wrinkle on our heart.
