AGENCY GOALS & OBJECTIVES:
Goucher College is dedicated to a liberal art education that prepares students within a broad humane
perspective for a life of inquiry, creativity and critical and analytical thinking. The college’s principal
objectives are to help each student master significant areas of knowledge and skills while developing an
appreciation for individual and cultural diversity, a sense of social responsibility and a system of personal
and professional ethics.
DEPARTMENT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
The Goucher Student Health and Counseling Center believes that good health means having a full measure
of physical, emotional and social vitality. The center is organized to assist the students in maintaining a
healthful well-being by providing routine outpatient and urgent care for both physical and mental issues,
throughout the academic year including comprehensive educational services and programs.

Since all students at Goucher must study abroad we will be focusing on the issues and concerns that
students will be surrounded with in reference to travel and learning new cultures. This has many facets and
will cover many diverse topics.

We are looking for a student that is a self-starter, is motivated, organized, flexible and innovative in the
college health field.
