Fire Safety Speech and Language Activities Dear Families, In speech this week we finished up our study of fire fighters. We read a fire safety Clifford story. See Speech Corner for the YouTube link. Blended friends had an activity which targeted pronouns him/her, spatial concepts and following directions. Instructional friends played a Lotto game utilizing our fire vocabulary. Students practiced labeling the vocabulary and using a complete sentence (I have firefighter, I don’t have it. etc). Finally, both groups help to make a thank you poster for the firefighters which we will deliver next week. Next we will start our new unit…Caterpillars! Have a terrific weekend! Ms. Kim
