Filing Instructions for Establishing Operating Expenses
For accounting and billing purposes both the Center and the firm will follow an
academic/fiscal year of August 1 to May 31 or the academic calendar that corresponds
closest to these dates.
1.
Prior to the start of operations, the newly formed practice firm will complete the
Agreement on Operating Expenses form online. Note: The
students/employees should research the cost of these expenses before submitting
them to the Center.
2.
Confirmation of receipt and approval will be via email.
3.
The agreed upon amounts will be in effect until the firm executes a new
agreement.
NOTE: Using the network's electronic banking system:
Prepaid expenses will be paid to the Center by your firm by August 20th of each
academic/fiscal year. In the case of start-up firms, by the 20th of the month
following the Center's receipt and approval.
By the 20th of each month, the firm will paid the recurring or monthly expenses to
the Center. In the case of start-up firms, by the 20th of the month following the
Center's receipt and approval.
Failure to make expense payments by the due dates will result in a 25% late fee
being charged to the firm's account.
To purchase your firm’s product(s) go to the student/market section of the csbs
website. In addition as the Center is acting as the freight forwarder, transportation
charges that are borne by the customer, should be included on the product
purchase order.
