General Strategies Related to Goals: 1. During play time, teachers will be observing carefully, commenting on children’s play and interactions, and responding to children’s cues. During caregiving routines, teachers will be checking in with children, explaining what’s about to happen, and narrating as the routine is carried out. 2. Teachers work on implementing a daily routine that is a cycle of caregiving routines (diaper changes, meal times, nap times) and play times (indoors and outdoors, all together and in small groups). 3. Teachers provide plenty of space and time for children to learn about their bodies & how they work, develop motor skills, and practice manipulating objects and moving themselves. III.
