Nottingham Trent University Terms of Reference – LGBT+ Staff Network Group Nottingham Trent University welcomes and values diversity and, as part of our commitment to promoting equality, we have set up an LGBT+ Staff Network. The aims of the Network are to: LGBT+ Promote positive attitudes towards LGBT+ members of the community and raise awareness of LGBT+ equality. The name and definition of the Network is intended to be inclusive. Bring together LGBT+ staff in a supportive environment to network, share experiences and offer support and information. Give a voice to the NTU LGBT+ community enabling dialogue with all levels of the university. Contribute, as appropriate, to NTU policy development and review through formal consultation mechanisms by providing structured and informed feedback. The group is underpinned by a shared commitment to the values of informed engagement, positive representation and the treatment of individuals and groups with dignity and respect.
