he FedEx Operations Internship Program provides participants with exposure to the business
model of FedEx and a sound foundation for possible future leadership roles at FedEx. All
participants will be assigned an operations mentor and an education mentor for the duration
of their internship.
The internship includes an intensive 10-week exposure to operations that will allow the intern to
acquire targeted knowledge of the operational model at FedEx, along
with insight into the statistical analysis and strategic decision-making
processes that take place on a daily basis.
Through the knowledge of Project Management you are able relate and
take grasp of the importance of strategic planning and learning the best
possibility to curb production. Not only are you able to see how real
time planning is done but also how the phases of system development
is implemented which is a focus in Systems Analysis and Design.
This internship program has been a global door opener in
providing me opportunities for the future. By working with
the best courier company with global name recognition, I can
move to any other company with a Supply Chain division and
know that I have been trained by the best in the market.
