Background of PX-Map2

PX-Map is one of the Norwegian contributions to the

PC-Axis Family

• replacement of PX-Map 1.07 and PX-iMap

(VB and ASP)

• joint source code

– different GUIs for local version and Web version

– efficient maintenance and development

PX-Map2 is developed in .Net, C# and java script

Language.xml – add texts in your own language

Default values for language, classification type and others could be set in a configuration file

End user adjusting of colors, classification type and others are stored in cookies
