6th AWARD VIDACAIXA INSURANCE UB
On November 18 at 18:00, took place in the University of Barcelona Degrees’ Room
"Ernest Lluch", the sixth delivery of the "VidaCaixa's" award to the Master in Actuarial
Science from the University Barcelona students.
The aim of the award "VidaCaixa Insurance UB" is to reward to the best Master’s Final
Project. This year, exceptionally, VidaCaixa decided to award the three best academic
records of students enrolled in the academic year 2012-2013 of this Master,
considering that Master’s Final Project are not yet done (1st Class).
The event was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Elisenda
Paluzie, the coordinator of the Master in Actuarial and Financial Science, Dr. Mercedes
Ayuso, and the VidaCaixa’s Director of Organization and Human Resources, Mr. M ª
Jesús García .
The awards ceremony was attended by all Master’s students including the three
winners.
The winners were:
• 1st Award to Juan Guillermo Campos Rusinque, with a weighted average grade of
9.1.
• 2nd and 3rd Award to Xavier Colominas Garcia and Carlos Bort Escabias, both with a
weighted average grade of 8.9.
