OBSERVATIONS
This placement program is approved and signed by those responsible for student placements for each signatory to the attached
cooperation agreement, who may incorporate additional contents into the program by mutual agreement between the parties. In such
case, the additional contents must be attached as an annex hereto.
9. INFORMATION ON PROTECTION OF THE STUDENT’S PERSONAL DATA
For the purposes of managing the student placement agreement, all personal data on the student included in the agreement shall be
recorded in the electronic file “FeinaUB”. The University of Barcelona unit responsible for the file is the General Secretary’s Office.
The data in this file required by the collaborating organization which has signed the placement agreement shall be made available to
that collaborating organization, which shall agree not to make any other use of it than the use recorded in the terms of the placement
agreement, and which shall not make this data available to third parties without the consent of the student in question. The
collaborating organization shall, furthermore, agree to respect all safety measures and current legislation on personal data protection.
In all cases, the student is entitled to review, correct, cancel or question any part of his or her personal data. This may be done either by
e-mail to the address secretaria.general@ub.edu or by postal mail to the following address: Secretaria General de la Universitat de
Barcelona, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 585, 08007 Barcelona. In both cases and for identification purposes, users should attach a
copy of their national identity document or passport.
10. CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
The collaborating organization may request that the student sign a Confidentiality Agreement to protect the information to which the
student has access during the placement, whether verbal, written, graphic or in any other form that may become available following
signature of this agreement. For illustrative purposes, such information may relate to technical details, working methods and ideas,
products, graphic images, product design, models and brands, copyright, training methods, contractual arrangements, business plans,
costs and software. By signing this Confidentiality Agreement, the student undertakes not to divulge, use or reproduce any such
information that may be of a confidential nature.
11. SPECIFIC AGREEMENTS MASTER IN ADVANCED IMMUNOLOGY
1. The student has a commitment of 625 hours in the laboratory including experimental work, the elaboration of the Master Thesis and
their presentation.
2. In the case of significant interruptions of Research Project is necessary to have the written consent of the Mentor.
3. Care of the Director: There is a minimum follow of a weekly meeting between the Mentor and the student.
4. The student agrees to submit and present the Master Thesis, according to guidelines set by the Commission of the Master of
Advanced Immunology.
5. The results and the data obtained by the student are under confidentiality rules and are the property of the Mentor.
6. In case of any disagreement or conflict between the student and the Mentor, the Master of Advanced Immunology Commission will
hear claims and his decision will be unappealable, in compliance with the rules of the Centre.
