Eduventures’ Analysis
Overall, the findings demonstrate that
teaching candidates are proficient, if not
exemplary on their pedagogical content
knowledge, professional and pedagogical
knowledge, student learning skills, and
professional dispositions. Candidates were
also satisfied with their overall
programmatic GTEP experience. According
to candidates, PSU’s GTEP program overall
has provided an inclusive environment.
Graduate School of Education
Leading, Learning, Life Changing
Eduventures’ Analysis
Candidates were rated most highly in
their professionalism, and more
specifically in the honesty and integrity
that they exhibited. Candidates were
rated lower on their analyzing researchbased curricula, their technology
integration, reflection, and leadership. In
student teaching experiences, candidates
exhibited improvement from the midterm
to the end of the student teaching
experience, and from the first to second
student teaching experience.
