What is BIAC?
BIAC is the voice of business at the OECD
– Independent organization officially recognized
by the OECD as being representative of the
OECD business community
– Members are the major buisness
organizations in the 30 OECD Member

– In 2005, over 1500 business representatives
were actively involved in BIAC through 31
standing committees and policy groups
BIAC’s Primary Objectives
To positively influence the direction of
OECD policy initiatives
To ensure business and industry needs
are adequately addressed in OECD policy
decision instruments
To provide members with timely
information on OECD policies and their
implications for business and industry
BIAC Membership
