All students who complete one of the following pathways
will be honored at Cum Laude and at graduation.

and IV

Cultures and GPS US History.


Seminar II groups will meet four times per semester on a
rotation. Attendance is REQUIRED.
GPS Seminar III: Global Service
 Seminar III focuses on SERVICE WITH A GLOBAL
CONNECTION.
 Meets in the LIBRARY, during PAWS, once a month.
 Attendance at all sessions is REQUIRED.
 Guest speakers will address global issues with
tangible service opportunities available.
 Examples: Run For Courage, Upendo Women’s
Foundation, International Rescue Committee
 Other service opportunities will be available through
participation in the GPS Club.
All GPS participants must complete
a MINIMUM of 8 hours of approved global community
service
in order to complete Seminar III.

GPS Seminar IV:
Independent Global Project
Students meet with project advisors to design,
implement, research and present their
capstone projects.
Approved projects must have a CLEAR GLOBAL
CONNECTION and be associated with a
RECOGNIZED INTERNATIONAL
ORGANIZATION.
Project topics have included:
 Women’s Health/Upendo Foundation
 Sustainable Prosthetics/Limbs International
 Fighting Human Trafficking/Courage Worldwide
