 Map of Northern Utah
 Colored pencils
 Ruler
Procedure
1. Locate Brigham City on a map. This will be the Sun.
2. Using the Scaled Distance from Sun table, mark the orbits of the planets on the map.
 Find the distance of the planet from the Sun (Brigham City).
 Using the table on the next page, measure that distance from Brigham City.
Make a circle showing the planet’s orbit. (Use different colors for each
planet.)
3. Turn in the completed map and essay.
