Solar System Catalog (modified from Journey Through the Universe – Our Solar System) Purpose Students will create a catalog for the components in the Solar System. Introduction A catalog allows you to learn many things about the inventory of a store. For example, you can learn what kinds of items are available and at what price. Here’s a novel idea: imagine you manage a store called the Solar System. Your job is to create a catalog of the Solar System so we can determine what kinds of objects are contained therein. Materials Pencils Catalog template Colored pencils, crayons or markers Procedure 1.
