Halloween Party It is time to dust off the skeletons, play in the fallen leaves, and devour candy until we are in a sugar coma. Our classroom party will be on October 30th after P.E. The students voted and they requested to have mac and cheese and salad. I have stapled what your child is needing to bring to the front of this newsletter. Also, your child can also bring a special treat to share with their classmates. This can be a large bag of candy, Ring Pops, Popcorn balls, Rice Krispies, small toys, etc. Please plan on about 23 people. All items need to be brought in on Thursday, October 29th to ensure we have everything needed to have a spooktacular celebration. REMEMBER NO NUTS! Reading o o We will be reading traditional Cinderella stories from various cultures. We will be comparing /contrasting characters, cultures, and settings. We will be using elaborative detail to write about our imaginary friend during Writer’s Workshop. Math o o We will construct square and rectangular models and use the area formula A= l x w to find its overall area. Continue practicing your facts for our class competitions!
