Activity 1.1.5c Engineering Careers –
Brochure
Introduction
An Engineer is a person who uses his or her knowledge of science, technology,
math, and communication to solve technical design problems. Engineering changes
as new technologies are developed. Many of the careers that you will be applying for
after you finish school don’t exist today. As new technologies are developed, new
careers are available, and a new generation of engineers is needed as well. The
oldest engineering category is civil engineering. What do you think is the newest?
