My reflective papers on brain research demonstrated a solid
understanding of brain function. I need further work on providing
elaboration and depth of explanation about the relationships of brain
functions and the learning process. My application showed I need to work
on creating more specific classroom strategies to create a brain-friendly
classroom.
My in-class writings applying knowledge of brain research and learning
theory demonstrated a good application of brain research and an excellent
understanding of learning theory.
My final synthesis project demonstrated a variable ability to synthesize the
concepts of brain research and learning theory, language acquisition, and
cultural diversity. My project was strong in APA formatting. My thesis was
clear, the body and organization were logical and coherent, and the ideas
well developed to support my thesis. I need to develop a clearer
understanding of how to apply knowledge of language differences to my
daily classroom practice.
