CLASSROOM CONTROL

Be prepared.
2.
Be ready for your class every period of every day.
3.
Have a very simple 10-minute lesson on the board everyday.
4.
Every student should be working before the tardy bell stops ringing.
5.
Lay down a set of rules and stick to them!
6.
Help students develop a sense of responsibility. (A job for every
student)
7.
Make them proud to be in a group of well-behaved students.
8.
Treat them kindly, but be firm.
9.
Learn to relax with them. (Show understanding).
10.
Teach them how to be useful citizens.
11.
Have citizenship teams. (With prizes to winners).
12.
Take the last few minutes of every period for clean-up and comment
on achievements of the day.
13.
Send them out of class calm and relaxed.
14.
Never forget to give praise where praise is due.
15.
Work closely with parents.
16.
Have some reading, writing and discussion each day.
