Describe and analyze the challenge assignment
When I was in high school I got a private tutoring job for 6th grade student. I used
to teach her history, sociology and general math. I knew history and sociology pretty well
but I was very weak in math especially in algebra. I didn’t want to show my weakness in
front of my student or her parents because they know me as a brilliant student so it was
little embarrassing for me to tell them that I scared in math and secondly I wanted to earn
my pocket money so I didn’t want to lose my job. I got a biggest challenge to teach her
math and stay on my position but I was determined that any how I will teach her and
learn math as well. I started reading her book fast to last and practicing them on my own
before teaching her. Some time I got help from one of my friend or my teacher. In this
situation after three months she had her 1st exam and she did better then before. Her
parents were very happy and said that I am very attentive and teach very well her
daughter. I was really motivated and got a sprite to learn math and teach my student as
well. At the end of the year she got 93 in her final and I also get rid of my math scare. I
used to teach three students together she and her other two friends and they all had good
score in their class.
Trace your feelings from the beginning to the end
When I got this tutoring job I didn’t have the confident and I was very shy but
letter on when I discover that it’s my responsibility to teach her and had the opportunity
to learn from the beginning I got serious. I think I got benefited more than my student
because I learn math by my own from this tutoring which I could not do before and it’s
effected on my result and my grade as well.
What did you learn from this experience?
First of all I learn math which was really important for me but I think if somebody
really serious and pay attention on something they can do whatever they want to do. If I
can learn math from my tutoring job and help my student to get good grade so nothing is
impossible in this world just need little attention and sincerity.

Person #1 name: Kabir Mahammed, He is a supervisor of Duane Reade. He is
very honest and punctual. He is a good decision maker and very motivating. I wish I
could follow his quality in future and contribute these qualities in my profession.
Person #2 name: Narimon Sinha my co worker in Beauty Salon. I really admire
her because she is very confident and know exactly what is she doing. I think this is
really important for a worker to identify themselves because it gives people confident and
desire to hold their position sincerely.
Task 4 describe a hardship at work and how you
coped with it
Describe a hardship from your work experience.
I am working as a beautician in a salon. A month ago I got a bridal make up
contract. I suppose to be there in 10.30 but I wake up late and I went there 11: 45 and I
should finished between 12: 45 to 1:00 o’clock. They were waiting for me more then one
and half hour. They could not go other salon because the wedding dress and other
instruments were with me. When I reach there every body was so upset and I found my
self totally alone. First I apologized for my mistake and when they saw I was really seek
then they try to co operate with me and I also try my best. Though I should finish
between 1:00 o’clock, I finished 1:15. I know I was late but they were really well being
and understand my situation.
How did you cope during this period?
First of al I apologized and not showing my nervousness. I tried to communicate
and assure them that I would finished on time so be patience.
What did you learn from it?
I learn that if you have ant problem try to tell them others about that and find
another solution so that it will be not effect on your reputation.

for improvement
According to feedback that you have received from the people,
describe the primary reasons fro your success to date.
My friends and coworkers say about me that I seem really nervous within little
things. I should be more confident and more professional then friendly.
From your own self assessment, describe the primary reason
for your success to date.
I think I should improve my time management and confidence level. I should
seem more attentive and serious about my work.
According to the feedback that you have received from other
people, describe an important area in which you need to
improve your skill or performance.
According to me I need to improve my confidence level because sometime I
know the right thing but I feel shy to express my self or some time I am waiting for
others activity.
From your own self assessment, describe an important area in
which you need to improve your skill or performance.
I think I should talk to people more clearly to improve my language skill and
confidence level. I should communicate with my co worker and be friendly with my
customer. I believe that these things will help me to express myself and get rid of my
blocks.
