TIGER CUBS HAVE A VERY HAZARDOUS LIFE AND ABOUT HALF DIE BEFORE THEY REACH ADULTHOOD. SAVE THE WHILE TIGERS BORN IN ZOOS ARE NUMEROUS, WID TIGERS ARE AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. SPECIES The tiger is the largest member of the cat family. Since tigers can live in almost any climate, they may be found in the hot rain forests of Malaya, or the dry thorn woods of India, or the snowy spruce forests of Manchuria. Wild tigers are found only in Asia. Until the 1800’s, many lived throughout most of the southern half of the continent. Tigers still live in some of this area, but only a few are left. Because so many die before they reach adulthood, and because people have hunted tigers for years and cleared the forests in which they live, the tiger is an endangered species. Help us to SAVE THE SPECIES. Write to your Congressperson and local government officials to inform them of your support to keep the tiger alive.
