Don’t Hate….
The blatant hate of one’s blessed fate
And you try to taint a seedling so great
Yet you fail to state the reason you berate
So it’s you who fails and can’t make the grade
And the need, it seems, to cut at the knees
Leads me to believe there’s more up her sleeve
It’s not just the seed conceived by the deed
Instead it’s her dreams that feed such a greed
I find in my time of those lives who disguise
Such eyes go blind to life’s fruitful ties
Besides whatever lies reside in your mind
I cry not, for mine is kind and sublime
The Rose you so loathe and has you so froze
That soul so old who glows as she strolls
Knows no role to which you pose or behold
Nor knows why she impose your heart to be cold
But such luck would come when one is undone
And done, I am not for there’s more to be won
So love, there are some who hearts aren’t so numb
To one, who has a young, my time has just begun
