The basics of planning can help managers be prepared and organized to handle work loads such as hiring and firing employees. Also, enables managers to exercise their minds mentally and motivates organizations to commit themselves to “making it happen.” There are many positive effects or benefits of planning. An example in which planning can be beneficial is on managerial performance. It is shown from studies in which stress planning is being taken into consideration can help employees earn high performance ratings from supervisors. Planning also has a positive impact on the quality of work production. Studies shown in planning, where there is a positive relationship between planning and the success of the organization, such as increase in sales and goals. Planning can provide a means of motivation to the personnel involved from all areas of the organization in the management of an organization. This can lead to a benefit in an organization, the production of “involvement.” Involvement in the planning sense is the process which aids in the enhancement of the overall understanding of the organization’s direction. As an example through planning, the sales department can understand the organizational objectives of the productions department. Involvement in this case shows that people in the organization are working together, where the plan becomes “our” plan rather than “their” plan.
