In today’s society, most people want to major in nursing, which prior to the 1800, society regarded nursing as a housecleaning job. Also in the 1800 only women were taking care of the sick, but thanks to one of the pioneers, Florence Nightingale who joined the nursing school in the 1851, nursing care providers are now treated differently. During the war, Nightingale became known as lady of the lamp because of her lamp she had always held while caring for the sick. As a caregiver, Nightingale came up with dozens of principles for nurses.
