Ms. RC , a 23-year-old single college student was a native from Trinidad. She
was raised by her relatives. At the age of eighteen, she came to the U.S. and lived with
her mother. She rarely talked with her father.
RC earned an Associates degree in childcare prior to enrolling at LaGuardia
Community College as an Occupational Therapy Assistant major. The key stressor in her
education is doing research and assignments. She is overwhelmed and pressured.
The client works as a part time babysitter for children ages three to eleven. She
babysits the same children for five yrs. She is very passionate and enthusiastic about her
job. She scarcely have time for any leisure activity. In few occasions, she is able to see a
movie with either her boyfriend or best friend. At one point, the client felt uneasy when
the topic about sports came up.
The evaluation will resume on Monday, September 26 at 10:00 am.
