CHARACTER COUNTS CORNER!
FAIRNESS
Encourage and support your kids
because children are apt to live up to
what you believe of them. – Lady Bird
Johnson - First Lady of the United States
(1963-1969)
Children want and need rules, structure
and boundaries. It is these components
which creates a sense of fairness,
predictability and safety in a child’s
environment. When these expectations
are consistent, we are on our way to
raising children of character who will
treat others with fairness.
Fairness
 Be open-minded; listen to
others.
 Don’t take advantage of others.
 Don’t blame others carelessly.
 Play by the rules.
 Take turns and share.
SNACK SHACK
Our Richmond Parent Teacher
Committee will begin hosting a “Snack
Shack Store” every Wednesday and
during morning recess.
Snack items & drinks will be sold for
$1.00 each. To prevent loss of money
and theft, please make sure that your
child does not bring more than $3.00.
