FAIRNESS Encourage and support your kids because children are apt to live up to what you believe of them. – Lady Bird Johnson - First Lady of the United States (1963-1969) Children want and need rules, structure and boundaries. It is these components which creates a sense of fairness, predictability and safety in a child’s environment. When these expectations are consistent, we are on our way to raising children of character who will treat others with fairness. Fairness Be open-minded; listen to others. Don’t take advantage of others. Don’t blame others carelessly. Play by the rules. Take turns and share.
