This project is a one-credit add-on to existing substantive courses in the Faculty of Law. Students undertake one or more writing
exercises, e.g. drafting opinion letters or research memoranda, approximately 4,000 words, (exclusive of bibliography and
footnotes). This add-on may only be used once, in the final year of study, and typically, permission is only granted for the final
term, with the permission of the Associate Dean (Academic). Graduate students must also attain the approval of the Associate
Dean (Graduate Studies). The project must relate to a course successfully completed in a previous term and must be supervised
by a Faculty instructor with expertise in the area. Students must register for the course before the end of the course change
period on Minerva. Late submissions will not be approved.
