Srimathi Brahmanandan Violin SRIMATHI, Violin Soloist more popularly known as Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandan in the world of Carnatic Music was born in a family devoted to vocal and instrumental music for generations. Srimathi had her initial lessons from her father, a versatile musician, V.R.Gopala Iyer. Later she received her rigorous practice from her brother Lalgudi. Jayaraman. With this maestro, a living legend, She had performed in tandem numerous concerts all over India. Srimathi performs violin solo recitals in India and abroad with her daughter and disciple Anuradha Sridhar. Her recitals in All India Radio and Doordarshan in the slot Senior “A” grade has been a regular feature for years. The recitals of this skilled violinist gifted with unbounded virtuosity have won the approbation of the knowledgeable listeners for the classicism, grace and melody. Also she is a dedicated teacher. Her systematic and well-defined coaching has immensely benefited the aspiring disciples. Students who have persevered under her guidance are today performers in India and abroad. Anuradha Sridhar – Violin Born violinist, Anuradha Sridhar, began her training from childhood. Laurels came her way while she was a child. She became a full-fledged performing artiste when she was 12 years old, establishing herself as a supportive accompanist and an excellent soloist while doing her studies in India and abroad. In recognition of her extra ordinary merit, The Music Academy and other leading music institutions in Chennai, India, honored her with their awards year after year. Anuradha lives in the US and pursues her music career performing Carnatic Music in USA, India and other music centers in the world. As the principal of her music school called Trinity Center in her hometown Saratoga at California she trains up pupils in vocal and instrumental music from beginning to performing level. She is also the founder of Solfacreations, an organization dedicated to further the cause of our Music and Culture in USA. Anuradha lives in the US and pursues her music career performing Carnatic Music in USA, India and other music centers in the world Shriram Brahmanandan- Mridangam Shriram Brahmanandan has learnt from the great Guru, Shri Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer. He hails from a family of great musicians and is the son of Lalgudi Srimathi Brahmanandan. He hails from a family of great musicians and is the son of Lalgudi Mrs. Srimathi Brahmanandan. He has also teamed up with many senior musicians including, his uncle, Shri Lalgudi. G. Jayaraman, K.J. Yesudas, N. Ramani, Balamurali Krishna and G.J.R Krishnan to name a few. Shriram is graded artist with All India Radio ( AIR) and has performed regularly in national broadcasts in AIR and in Indian Television. He has won awards for 'Best Mridangist' during the music concert series held in Indian Fine Arts and in Youth Association for Classical Music. Shriram has also toured United States on concert, and lecture/demonstration tours. He has performed in Melbourne, Australia and has given presentations in the major multinational music festivals held in Australia.
