you will also be asked to complete an Internship Learning Agreement. You may cut and paste parts of this essay to
complete the Learning Agreement.
Part One: Introduction to Internship Opportunity
Please provide:



A general description of the internship.
The reason(s) for chosing this organization.
An explanation of the relevance of this country to your internship.
Part Two: Learning Outcomes and Career Development


Please describe 3-5 learning outcomes that you have developed with your faculty supervisor stating
what you intend to learn, including the knowledge and skills that you want to gain and attitudes that
you want to clarify.
Explain how this internship fits into your medium and long-term personal and professional goals.
Part Three: Planning and Logistics
Please describe:



A travel timeline that addresses any factors impacting your proposed timeline, such as weather,
climate, special events, etc.
A brief description of your work schedule, including days and hours you will work each week.
How you have prepared for the experience and what else you need to accomplish before the
proposed travel dates.
