Detailed Mentorship Strategies: A high-quality, faculty-mentored student research experience should result in students improving their basic research-related skills in order to be a productive researcher not only in the current project, but in future projects. A successful applicant will have a well-developed and wellarticulated plan to help students gain and improve these skills. For each of the Student Learning Outcomes below, describe the specific strategies that you, as the faculty mentor, will employ to help the student become proficient in the following researchrelated skills.
