rights.
4. FLEXIBILITY/READINESS AND AVAILABILITY OF TIME (200 words)

In my current position as the Nobel Peace Circle's Chair for Human Rights, I enjoy
remarkable flexibility in the organization of my work, as my obligation to be present
at the Circle is limited to the days on which I determine to schedule my

participate in Human Rights Council Sessions and General Assembly Sessions in New
York, which are planned much in advance. I would also be able to plan special
procedures visits, draft reports and engage with stakeholders, taking advantage of
the possibility to plan my academic work with large autonomy. According to my

III. MOTIVATION LETTER (600 word limit)
My motivation in being appointed as a Special Rapporteur on the Right to Privacy is
twofold; one general and the other specific. The general motivation comes from my
general aspiration to make practical contribution towards the realization of full
promotion and protection of human rights for the People as an African national
specilaized in Privacy rights, while the specific motivation is generated by both my
related studies background and my approach on how we can stand-up to promote an
era of respecting human rights in our world as the Nobel Peace Circle's (non-for-profit
do/think-tank & a UN Global Compact Academic Member) co-chair for Human Rights
and as a fellow for Sudan Case in the Non-Killing Center in the United States.
Moreover, it is generated by the language of in a paragraph of the Human Rights
Council Resolution 27/21 which states "To identify possible obstacles to the
promotion and protection of the right to privacy, to identify, exchange and promote
principles and best practices at the national, regional and international levels, and to
submit proposals and recommendations to the Human Rights Council in that regard,
including with a view to particular challenges arising in the digital age," and that is
core belief of my own to carry out this responsibility. Also to bring my human rights
advocacy experience into action as the founder of the Child-Friendly Human Rights
Digital Library My Right...My Life in coordination with Harvard School of Law and
UNESCO, as the first ever child-friendly digital library on the issue of the human
rights. I authored the Child-Friendly Text of the United Nations Universal Declaration
of Human Rights (UDHR), the Child-Friendly Text of the Convention on the Rights of
the Child (CRC), the Child Friendly-Text of the United Nations Protocol To Prevent,
Suppress And Punish Trafficking In Persons, Especially Women And Children (Palermo
Protocol), the Child-Friendly Text of the U.N. Convention on the Elimination of All
Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and the Child-Friendly Text of the
U.N. Disability Convention (Draft 13 – September 2007). As a human rights activist
for many years, I have involved with the United Nations, participating in human
rights marathons in the Middle East, U.S. and Europe. I helped translate and
distribute tens of thousands of copies of the United Nations Universal Declaration of
Human Rights in 2 different languages in Sudan. Asked why I so passionate about
human rights, I responded, "Human rights awareness is everyone's responsibility." In
summary, I consider my background in international human rights law, with specific
expertise in the Sudan case coupled with my commitment to uphold and develop the
'Preventing human rights policy as clear motivation to be appointed to this mandate.
Last but not least, I founded an initiative titled "The Global Day to Fight Human
Trafficking." I'd like to note that I' am the co-founder of the Human Trafficking
Victims' Clinic in Sudan as the first ever specialized human rights research unit focus
on the Sudanese people rights and the promotion of the right of victims to get legal
