Reminder:
Hot dogs are available for sale on Thursdays for $1. Pre-ordered lunches start on Friday,
October 3. Until that date, please send your child to school with a lunch.
Morris Museum Comes to Hillside!
Here is just another example of our PTA dollars enhancing the learning in our children’s
classroom. Through a PTA grant, the teachers now have the ability to borrow artifacts and
materials from the Morris Museum to use in the classroom. The teachers are asking for our
assistance with transporting the materials back and forth from the Museum. Unfortunately for
the teachers, these materials must be picked up and dropped back off between 9-4, just the
time they are busy working with our children! We are looking for 4-6 volunteers (can be moms,
dads, grandparents) to transport the materials back and forth once every month or two. Please
contact Laurie Wolfe at Laurie_Wolfe@matria.com if you can help. This is a great way to help
the teachers and PTA without having to commit a lot of time.

Buzz Book Orders Due Wednesday, September 24:
Buzz Books are available for purchase. Order form is attached to this bulletin, and it is also
available on the PTA website. Buzz Book order forms are due back by Wednesday,
September 24!!!
Lunch Orders Now Being Accepted Online:
You can now order your child’s lunch for October online by logging onto
www.ezlunchorder.com. All orders must be received by 11:59pm on Monday, September 22.
Orders for October cannot be placed after this date. Payments can be made online by
credit card (Pay Pal) or by check. Make checks payable to Hillside PTA and send it back to
school in an envelope marked “lunch order” no later than Wednesday, September 24. Check
orders will not be processed unless payment is received by this date. If you have any questions,
please contact Georgiann Herzinger at gherzinger@verizon.net.
It is EZ to order your child’s lunch online by following the steps below:
1)
Go to www.ezlunchorder.com
2)
Select your child’s school – “Hillside” and click “Continue”.
3) Either click on “First - Time Users” to create a new account or “Returning User” and
enter information requested.
4) Click on “Place New Order”.
5) Select your child’s name from the list and click “Continue”.
6) Select lunch options for each day. Do not order lunch when school is closed or there is
a half day.
7)
You have option to “Modify Order”, “Add Another Student”, or “Checkout”.
To add another student click on “Add Another Student”. Select additional child’s name
from list and click “Continue to Order”. Follow step 6.
8)
To complete all orders click “To Finish and Pay.” Please verify the accuracy of your
order. Once submitted it cannot be changed.
9)
To submit your order and pay by credit card, click “Buy Now.”
