It's not always easy to remember or know of all the people that help with the PTA and related
activities but just know your work is valued and greatly appreciated. Everything can be possible with
the time and commitment from many volunteers and YOU are an integral part in the success of our

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RECEIPTS FOR REIMBURSEMENT
All receipts for PTA expenses must be submitted by Thursday, June 25 in order to be reimbursed. A
reimbursement form must accompany the receipts. Click here to access the reimbursement form, or

FALL ’09 CLOTHING DRIVE
Don't throw it away!!! Start saving your "stuff" for a used clothing drive that will occur in November.
The school will receive a monetary donation for the total poundage that we can collect. We are
collecting wearable and usable clothing (men's women's & children's), shoes, belts, handbags,
linens and stuffed animals. More details to follow in the fall.
HILLSIDE’S 2nd ANNUAL PICNIC
You are cordially invited to the 2nd annual Hillside Family Picnic on Friday, June 19 from 6:009:00pm on the blacktop and playground. Join all of the Hillside families to say goodbye to another
great school year. Entertainment will be provided.
Please bring a blanket and dinner and snacks for your family if you did not pre-order your dinner
(BBQ) from Café Serene.
RSVP for this event is not required.

HELP WANTED
Our students have done a wonderful job of planting beautiful flowers in the gardens around Hillside
school. Laurie Wolfe, who has given of her time and labor to spearhead this effort, has an injured
shoulder and is unable to complete the last piece of work which is to disperse mulch around the
various gardens. Let's show our kids that parents can have H.E.A.R.T. too. Please contact Laurie
at 973.535.6056 if you are able to help with the mulch.
LOST & FOUND
Parents and Kids: Please check the lost and found located outside the upper gym doors. There are
many, many items that need to be returned to their rightful owner. Any unclaimed items will be
donated to charity on Friday, June 19.
PTA SURVEY – WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK
The PTA wants to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to take our quick survey, so we can
improve what we're doing or continue to do what is right. We also want to know your ideas as we
begin preparations for next year. Deadline to take the survey is this Friday, June 19. Thank you.

ORDER SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR 2009-2010
School supplies can be ordered now for the 2009-2010 school year. We’ll shop for you and your
child’s supplies will be in the classroom on the first day of school. Deadline to order supplies is
Wednesday, June 24. Please do not feel obligated to participate in this program. You can always
use the list to purchase your child’s supplies on your own. Any questions, please contact Michelle

ATTENTION 5TH GRADE PARENTS
Packets of information were distributed to all 5th grade students. Packets include a Buzz Book form,
Volunteer Interest Sheet and a reminder to sign up to receive MPMS emails and newsletters. If you
need additional copies of these forms, click here.

For those of you who paid for the wristbands and pizza by check, the checks will be destroyed.
