A TITLE IS ALL CAPITALS AND PLACED HERE
This is where your story begins. This is called the first
paragraph. A paragraph has a few or many sentences. The first
paragraph starts off by telling you about the story.
There are three paragraphs in my document. Do you see
how the first line of each paragraph is “indented”? You just
have to press your Tab Key once at the beginning of a line to
make the line indent five spaces. There are three paragraphs in
this story. The first paragraph starts off by telling you about the
story. The second paragraph tells you the story. The third
paragraph ends the story.
Open a new Word document. Press your Enter Key to
space down four times. Then begin to type your TITLE in all
capital letters in the horizontal center of the page. Your
teacher will show you how. Then, press your Enter Key three
times, strike your Tab Key and start your first paragraph. Let
your lines word wrap. In other words, do not strike the Enter
Key at the end of each line. When you want to start a new
paragraph, strike the Enter Key twice and then strike the Tab
Key. Make yours look like this one.
