1. I attended the annual luncheon for the Multiple Sclerosis society. I was their guest and sat at the head
table. They paid for my (lovely) lunch but I made a donation of $250.
2. I took some city folks to a cubs game last night as a much-needed down time. I paid for their tickets
and was the highest paid person there. Some folks in cubs management saw that we were there and
escorted us to the dugout area for an inning or two. One of the people bought me a wine; another
bought me a hot dog.
