Digital Graphics II – Perspective Project Create one 11 X 17” (horizontal format), and one 17 X 11” (vertical format), image incorporating two types of perspective from the Scholastic Magazine, Perspective: The Renaissance to Richard Estes. One image will be in color and the other will be in black and white. Requirements: 1. Read the Scholastic Magazine, Perspective: The Renaissance to Richard Estes. 2. View the National Gallery of Art video, Masters of Illusion. 3. One image must be horizontal (11 X 17”), and the other must be vertical (17 X 11”). 4. One image must be black & white and should include a full range of value. 5. One image must be in color – determine a color scheme that you can name when asked. Feel free to re-visit: http://www.colormatters.com/ 6. Choose one of the four types of perspective for each of the two images: 1) anamorphism; 2) one-point; 3) two-point; 4) aerial. 7. You may use foreshortening and/or distortions in your images, as long as you maintain the integrity of the type of perspective you’ve chosen. 8. Use “photomontage” techniques in Photoshop and include at least three elements drawn in Illustrator. 9. Leave a 1” margin on all sides of the image.
