Service Description Access can be made to the central research data by the following routes: Web-based Research System and BI-Query. Web-based Research System: This is a web system from which authorised users may access and maintain research projects, applications and awards etc. BI-Query: Information (on research projects, related applications and awards, etc.) maintained in the Research database can be made available via software called BI-Query. For instructions on how to install Bi-Query Launcher visit the IT Services website at http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/it/businesssystems/biquery/biquerylauncher/ 2. Prerequisites. To make use of the services outlined above, you require: Staff Number: A valid University of Glasgow staff number is required. If you do not have one, contact your territorial HR manager. College/School Code: If a code is required please refer to http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/it/businesssystems/orgstructure for a full list. Internet browsing software: Web based systems will operate on recent versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and most other browsers. Please ensure that you have Javascript and Cookies enabled (we only use session Cookies).
