Pop Music Shakespeare
In order to engage with the elements of theatre and acting, you will be
creating a fifteen second Shakespeare. In the last few weeks, actors and
actresses have been challenging each other to use the lyrics of a popular song
and act it out and record it as if it was dialogue in a Shakespeare play.

Your assignment is to video yourself doing this exact thing. Select a song
(appropriate language is best) and say it as if you were reciting it on stage.
Look at the lyrics. How can these lines be interpreted in order to make it more
dramatic? Think about the context of what the song means.
When you finish, you need to upload the video into the shared Google drive
folder titled, 15 Second Shakespeare.
