Make up a price. For numbers, remember, there is no “y” between the hundreds and tens. There is a “y” separating the tens and ones. Only use “uno” by itself and for counting. However, if a noun follows it, “21 dollars, 51 shoes, 1 boy, 41 girls, then “1” has gender. Numbers in the hundreds also have gender if a noun follows.
