This Week in Our Classroom
Phonics: Letter Ii-keyword Inch
We will learn how to write the uppercase and lowercase form, make the sound
of Mm and make a circle map using words that begin with the sound /i/.
I apologize if you have been getting repeated
emails from me. I have been having some
“technical difficulties” with my email account.
Hopefully that will be resolved soon. You should
expect at least one email per week from me
(usually on Friday).
Math: Identifying & drawing circle, square, triangle,
rectangle, trapezoid, and hexagon, as well as
identifying and building sphere & cube
Writing: Animal Research (rhino, elephant, cheetah,
zebra)

**Please remember to check MOOSE books each night.
There are lots of important papers coming home and it
is important they are looked at in a timely manner.
Homework will also be coming home occasionally.
**All money should be placed in an envelope or baggie,
labeled with your child’s name and the purpose of the
money.
**Make sure your child has a winter change of clothes
here at school in case of an accident.
This week’s STAR STUDENT is
Heaven!
Heaven is a sweet, kind-hearted student who is always
willing to help. She follows all the class rules and makes
sure everyone is working together. Thanks Heaven for
being an amazing kindergartener!!!
